Pretty cool bike, nice to see a whole bike on here for a change.
Not sure I love that seat, but I wouldn't toss it in a dumpster either...

What's up? I wanted to thank you guys in advance for all the help you've displayed throughout this forum. I hope I can help, or at least not cause too much trouble. I just purchased a 72 T120R with a 70 TR6C motor and I am proud to say I'm in love! There is quite a bit I want to do to make it more enjoyable. Luckily I am starting with a great bike that only needed minor work to get going again. This beast has a fresh top end rebuild and is just now broken in.

It ain't easy bein' fat and greasy.
Bike looks nice, helmet is not my style, but there would be no mistaking you. I agree with thechief86, that seat looks...odd. almost like it has a big ol booty lol

You guys feel just how I do about the seat, I bought it from a British company and the pictures didn't do it justice... Not worth replacing after spending $300 on it, but I may eventually.
Seat might not look so out of place with low bars and a fairing. As it is it's kinda wonky.
Nice bike. Do you have the side covers and original seat? Stock is nice.
Looks like you have a good starting point for a fun bike. I always loved riding Bonnevilles, they were just easy and cool.
Personally if it were mine I would look into getting the mufflers and air cleaners from a '69 Bonne. It would be easy and would give you that classic Triumph look.

I don't have the original parts, wish I did though.

You can find good aftermarket parts for that bike. Check with "GrandPaul" he is on this forum some.....although not as much lately. But he seems to be the go to guy for those parts.
He said he is on the Britbike.com forum too.
Welcome to the forum. I'm right next door to you in Dawsonville, stop by and we'll talk all things Triumph. The seat jumped out at me also as very unappealing, but I think the foam could be cut down to be more proportionally appealing and then recovered. The shape is good, it's just too big for the rest of the bike. I'm building a 70 Tiger/Bonny right now.
That pic was taken in front of Good Old Days in Cumming. Not drinking and driving I hope.
