Hi, I'm interested, do you know what bike it's off of? I'm rebuilding a 79' CB 650 right now. Any idea if it will fit?

    thanks!

Good luck getting a response to that.

We been down this 'does it fit X' road many times, Honda and others rarely built 2 different model fuel tanks the same and fitting it is dependent on your ability to make something work or re-work after a fashion.
Paint on this slightly dented slightly rusty tank appears to have been stripped using caustic chemical paint removers, that will promote rust like crazy and the steel should have been immediately cleaned and primer painted upon doing that. He's not showing you the underside or inside or fuel taps if they come with it. The price of my old junk pile just went up in value.

The base of hte filler cap neck looks like it's going to be a problem. Rust of bad pitting in the welds? Could just be poor image quality

Can't be sure but it looks to be a cb350F tank. If so they are kind of hard to find in anywhere near halfway decent condition. That being said I wouldn't buy ANY tank off the internet without a pic inside.

Agreed. Who knows what horrors lie within. Ive seen a few bikes that look amazing on the outside but inside the tank is more rusted out than Mater from Cars
