FS - OCR Aluminum(Alloy) Cafe Racer Tank

I have a new one-off aluminum(alloy) tank I just finished and thought i'd offer it up for sale here. Of coarse this is a very lightweight aluminum(alloy) tank, that holds about 3.7 gallons and fits the Honda CB/CL 350 twins(may fit the SL350 also..not sure). This is probadly one of the nicest tanks i've made yet and has become my favorite.....really enjoyed making it and may build another on special request(requires more work than the standard tank I build), but for right now this is it....no more like this. This new tank has a recessed alloy center tank strap. Also....this tank must be used with a solo race seat, as its way too long to fit with a stock seat in place. Price for this tank will be $850.00 plus shipping.

If anyone is interested in purchasing it, feel free to drop me a note thru my website or a PM here.

Also....been saying it for a long time, that I will make an aluminum(alloy) CR750 tank.
    CR750 Tank

I'm hoping within the next few days to get my hands on an original factory Honda race tank, to make some templates and start hammering the first one out soon. Once those are available I will have them listed at my website also.

Thanks again to everyone who has purchased my tanks in the past and look forward to those of you who may become new customers.
    Hope you enjoy the pics,
    Greg

    Derek,

The standard tanks are $750.00 plus shipping. I believe our CB350/400F tanks will fit the CB360 frame, with the frame mounted coils. Havent had a chance to check the fitment, but believe 99.9% it will fit. I'll check on a friends CB360 in the next few days and let you know.

    Thanks,
    Greg

hey greg, was watching the back on forth over on the wera board. dont let buff get you down, yeah, he might be able to get those tanks for 550 bucks. for himself. but as far as getting them to his customers, id doubt it would be as easy. i like buff. hes done me some great favors. but sometimes its just such a huge pain in the ass to get stuff fromm him. and other times, all it takes is an email. its unfortunate, because he has some really great shit. and theres no doubt the dude can ride like a mfer! ive never been able to figure it out. and he should really pony up and pay for some band width in my opinion. often enough his site is down for exceeding limits. not very professional if your trying to use it to run a business. (pretty much why i dont have one!!!)

    JC,

I respect Buff and Todd a great deal....if he can get them that cheap...that is great. More than likely that is before shipping across the pond and with a pretty good waiting period. I had some dealings with Todd and his wife(Merium..I think was her name) back before and during his bad crash and they are truely good people. Its great to know Todd made it thru his ordeal and still in the vintage racing stuff....even if he isnt racing. At least he got a good rider to keep his stuff up front. Think it would be a fun sometime to run against Buff. Too bad I dont have a nice competitive CB350 to roll out on the track....it would be a blast!!! Hell...might even give him a run for his money...LOL!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
