So this is the 75' cl360 I have been talking about. Its got about 6,300 miles on it, carbs and tank need a good cleaning, battery needs to be replaced and possibly the chain too. Tires are in great shape and isn't missing any parts. For $350 its not too bad of a buy.

First step: Get the bike running!

The bike sits a bit higher then I would like. Anyone have any ideas or recommendations on what I should do to lower the seat height.

Have any ideas or recommendations on what I could do to make this a great looking and riding Cafe?

If I sound not terribly knowledgeable at times or all the time its because this is my first project bike and have up till this time only ridden motorcycles. So any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Also if you feel this should be moved to project bikes please inform me of how I can do so.

Tyres may be in great shape but they are still 35yrs old?
They will stop the rims hitting the floor but are probably hard as hell.
You may get away with it in the dry, but, if you get on a wet road you'll probably be going down

those tires are NOT in great shape. neither are your fork seals.

cut some foam out of the seat and that should reduce the height.

    Thanks tex!

So tires and fork seals also need replacing, thank you for pointing those out. I am planning to replace them with some enduro tires, but on a limited budget am concentrating on just getting it moving for the time being.

Jaguar- About 5'7" but I have some pretty short legs so the lower I can get it the better.

I would agree with you, but then we would both be wrong.

RJB- Haha not quite, high school nickname that came from the character in the show that just stuck.

Jaguar- Its not terrible but my dream of not having to walk the bike on my tip toes or rocking it from side to side will not be met with this bike.

It will if you cut an inch of foam out of the seat.
