    Left hand light controls #€%!?

Hi! I'm building a cafe racer out of my old Kawasaki, but since the bike has ben standing still for a few years without registration it has to pass MOT again (Denmark is not a place for custom bikes). That means it has to have turnsignals, high-low beam and a horn. But it seems impossible to find good looking left hand controls. Hammerhead Industries used to make one, but they are out of stock since they try to improve the switch housing and there is no ETA on the new ones. What to do ? Can you guys name a bike with good looking controls that i may be able to find in spare parts ?

Yamaha XT and DT models had a LH switch block with all those items on it. Like this one:

You may need to do a bit of re-wiring to match up the different colour codings between Kawasaki and Yamaha but it should work OK.

Thank you for your reply! But i know it's not hard to get a hold of all sorts of plastic controls. but i don't dig that modern control look. I found that a 90's Honda GL 1000 has a pretty good looking set of controls but maybe some of you know of even better ones ? And i've done a complete rewire so no worries about colours, they are all messed op now

IIRC those DT controls are metal with plastic switches. Too modern for you? really?

Yep - they're alloy bodied and about as "retro" as you can get for a Japanese bike.

90's GL1000? What the fuck is that??

For custom switches, I've always liked the minimalism of the Posh Mini switches:
