So... long time no posting here
I finalised my project lat year and I love the bike. Of course I needed to do a lot of fine tuning. I have been using the bike to every day work riding and its just great: lot of torque, good handling, minimum comfort ;-)))) just perfect

I just bought an SSR Buccaneer 250... which looks very similar to what you built. I forgot about your build... but apparently I liked it enough to buy a bike that looks like a carbon copy!

Well, I did almost lose a bar end on the way home. But everything else I've checked was tight. 400 miles so far and no problems. It runs, turns, and stops well, and doesn't have a lot of vibration either.

Reminds me of the SRV250 Yamaha made out of the Virago motor:

The SRV250 actually was extensively re-tuned. It made more power than the V-Star, higher up in the rev range.

    Love the exhaust.
    My compliments to the fabricator.
