Yes, I'm going to be using the injection system. Not 100% about the details of it, but I'm told you don't want to go premix on one of these bikes. Based upon the path of the oil lines, it looks like the bearings may be directly oiled.

Before and (almost) after of the front fender repair.

Dent removal, welding, and most of the sanding is complete. Still need to buff it and them off to plating. We were originally going to go with chrome plating, but it turned out to be cost prohibitive. We're now going to be doing bright nickel instead. I'm told it requires a little more maintenance in order to keep it looking good, but it's hard to distinguish from chrome as long as you don't let it get too dirty.

Nickel is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing it plated.

Crank back from Bill Bune. New seals and o-rings. Bearings checked out OK and lubed up.

Looks good. Bill does good work! I assume you will add the oil mod to allow 1400ccs while you have the crankcase open?

Also feel like I should mention all the goodies Nova Racing Transmissions sells for the T500 - straight cut primaries, billet clutch basket that uses easier to obtain Honda friction plates, close ratio 5 and 6 speed gearboxes. Exchange rate on the Brit pound is the lowest I've seen in a long while.

Yup. Oil dam modification already purchased and ready to install once I get the rest of the cases back. No messing about with the transmission on this build, though. Trying to keep things stock, more or less. Going for more a restomod, OEM+, kinda thing.

While I'm waiting for parts to arrive, I polished up the domes.

I didn't think the oil dam was still available...or is someone other than Suzuki making them now?

I had an NOS one I loaned to a guy in Tennessee that had repros made. Clauss Studios was the place that made the repros. Now they sell them direct:

    Suzuki
