    Tire Pressure

I can't seem to find the recommended pressure for my Avon AM26's.

Anyone got a good starting point? I am running tubes in them if that makes a difference. Thanks

maybe with the bike you ride in your question, an answer will come with abuse. maybe just the abuse.

start about 2.2 BAR, they'll start getting squishy around 1.3

thing is it's a tuning tool, bike'll turn crisper aired up, stick better down

Eh, abuse is no big thing, sometimes learning hurts

Thanks Ken. So around 32-33psi. I'll start there and play around.

Think those are pretty decent tires, just put them on my 86 GSXR. Haven't ridden it yet.

Don't check the air pressure on my 550 as often as I should, it has Michelins, starts squirming around at about 20psi. Like I said turns crisper @32. Depends a bit on bike weight and your riding conditions I'll guess best compromise is 24-28. Air em up if you're doing more high(interstate) speed riding.

It also depends on tyre size you used on stock rims.
Oversize tyres (100~110?) will probably need more pressure, and, be 'twitchy'/light steering
Direct replacement size (80/80 or 90/90?), stock pressure or 2~3psi over
