    Tires

I have a 1979 Honda cb 750f. It has a set of silver comstars on it. Anybody have a clue of what the biggest tire is that I can run on the rear? Personal experience would be the best.

The biggest you should go is what is called for, stock. 130, I think it is, for your bike.

you could maybe run a 140 if you really felt like it. The chain line will support up to 160, I think, if you are willing to swap rims.

At 140 you may be bowing out the sidewall enough to hamper the handling of the bike.

Tell me, why do you want a "fat tire" on the rear?

Had a 130 Dunlop K391 R(baddass!) on my 81. -1 front, struts, lowered front. 29mm smoothbores, Yosh pipe

Get that bitch hot, dump the clutch about six grand, carry the front maybe 4" up

Blew the basket right through the cover

That bike doesn't need a bigger tire

I wasnt necesarily looking for a "fat tire". I was more so looking to see what you guys were putting on your bikes. I figured by asking what the biggest tire i could run i would get a good response. Also my other bike was a 2007 R1. I am used to a much wider tire. However that being said I do not feel like I need a bigger tire as far as handling goes. I was purely interested. So Sounds like stock size it is. Thanks for the input.
