Economy Cycles Black fuel line breaking down?

This is with regular gasoline and no additives other than from the refineries. I had ordered a few bits from Economy and at the time I needed some fuel line. I ordered their generic 1/4 or 5/16 for the line on my CL160. Its been just 4 months now and I can pull chunks out of the hose or the hose apart with little effort using just my finger tips. I noticed the issue while servicing my bike today. So if you have the black generic lines from Economy you all might consider checking them out for you and your bikes safety. P.S. some parts of the hose are stronger than others so do a full inspection before declaring everything good.

Well, it is called Economy Cycles.
Sounds like a Wile E Coyote situation.
Invest in some Motion Pro line and those little conical filters from K&L.

Its the kind of thing that can go very bad. So I just thought I would let people know so they don't loose a bike, skin, garage, house, or all the above.

MotionPro sells that tygon crap don't they?

The tygon crap works pretty good for me. I like the looks of black rubber lines but the transparent tygon lasts quite a bit longer and stays more flexible.
