    Modifying/Replacing Clocks

Alright, just bought a Honda H100 that's been cafe racered, beautiful bike but still needs a lil work. The clocks are 80s ones, they're plastic and rectangular. I've got them off and tried dismantling them, but they just didn't want to come apart and I can't see any screws to undo. I figure this may be intentional so you don't screw with the mileage. Is there any fairly simple way I can change them, like buying an aftermarket generic clock (seen a few on eBay)? At the moment I'm thinking I'll make something/get something made.

Acewell gauges are good. There are cheaper imitations of them on eBay, but I can't say I've heard good things about them.

Post some pics of your 80's plastic clocks - they should come apart to some degree to replace the bulbs if nothing else.

I got them partially dissasembled, but couldn't find a way to take out the things which move the speedo. It all seemed sealed shut (to stop people screwing with mileage?). I'd quite like an analogue one, but if it was aftermarket it'd have to be calibrated to my bike right?
