Question Brake kits for calipers and masters.. anything better than O/E?

Just as the title states, is there better stuff than O/E to redo my calipers and masters on the 78' sr500 ?

Will Not go cheap on stopping ability to save a buck and do realize O/E has last these 35 years with out issues, but is there a much better maker..????

I have found the seamingly nicely put together K&L kits for this bike, also stuff from KEDO and of course Yamaha..Others ??

Are any typically more compleate than others , (I do like compleate kits, over buying a zillion little yamaha bags!)
    Easyer to install, longer lasting...??

Pick up some brembo or similar brakes from a more modern sport bike, won't cost a ton and it will improve it more than kits for the stock setup.

I was confused on whether he wants new brakes and masters or better rebuild kits. The 2 he referenced (K&L, Kedo) make rebuild kits, not brakes themselves as far as I know. I know he said he wouldn't go cheap on the brakes but there is a huge price difference between better rebuild kits and going to a Brembo brake set up.
