    Kevlar Clutch Pack's

Did a search ,both here and on the net..
Asking because it would be good to know.. at least for me..

Barnett offers a clutch pack for my wet clutch bike made of kevlar..

Also know that to use their clutch and spring set is not a wise choice on an older street bike for the added pressure needed to operate, the drag the pack may still induce even when fully released and the harsher engagement being passed thru the drivetrain....

(so I am using a stock O/E clutch and the barnett springs for their bit more holding power..)

My question's... What will kevlar do to the rest of the drive train as it wears off the disc's , suspended in oil and then passed thru the oiling systems?
Is it something that can accelerate wear in a roller bearing or babbet bearing motor's over materials originally used in older bikes??

Is it (kevlar) harsher on engine surfaces than the original materials were?

As long as you use a good oil filter you'll notice no increased wear in the other parts of the motor. I used a full Barnett clutch set up in a oil cooled 89 GSXR 1052 for 9 years using Castrol GTX car oil with out failure. The lash and compression was checked each spring and ever moved after the second year. I miss that motor.... Sadly it was twisted after a friend hit a wall 3 weekends in a row.... He no longer drives a race car.
