    Disc Brake Help

I'm looking for help. The disc brake on my 73 350F is screaching like a banshee. I've replaced the pads, still screaches, I replaced the rotor, no help. I replaced the piston (with a new stainless steel piston) and seal, no solution. I've mixed the old parts with the new in all different combinations and they still screach. I've tried to resurface the old rotor and pads with an abrasive pad. The bike only has around 3300 miles on it. Any ideas?

    Is the disk drilled?
If not, maybe that would help. I've heard with break squealing problems that just won't go away the object become to break up the harmonics. I guess cars like Benz and BMW are notorias for squealing. So they have things like trick disk lathes that turn a slightly asymetrical pattern on the disk to break up the harmonics etc.

Loose spokes squeak brakes...Joe C, you the man. I gave each spoke about a turn (except for one that was real loose) and the squealing stopped. Who'd a thought. The wheels are in o.k. shape but I've been thinking about some new wheels for a while, maybe it's time. Thanx, James
