Those 200gp races are the shit to watch! The grid shouldn't get too packed, some of us need to see y'all dice it up for inspiration! I was on the fence with Monkey at a race where Johnny was leading, he turned to see where Frank was and THERE HE WAS right on his ass I think JB jumped a bit not expecting him to be so close. Pretty freakin' cool to watch.

As for this thread, I think it's great. We have hashed out the basics for setting up a CB race bike so many times, this is the icing on the cake.

Rosko...pretty sure I remember just the race you speak of...I couldn't shake Frank no matter how hard I tried, usually I can put some distance between us if I give it my all for a few corners, but that race was different.
I'm fully aware that the main reason I can stay ahead of the top five guys in the class is because I have motor on them. But that is changing....by this year I think about five bikes will be running with my pistons in them, two other bikes with engines I built, a few of my exhaust systems and PVL setups. It's getting harder to stay ahead of them.
It's a pretty serious bunch, a lot of them really want to win, myself inlcuded.

    joe,

mr. daytona has seen the daytona podium like four times, but only won it once. i was there, i saw it, 2001 i think, it was an amazing race to the finish line where he drafted buff to slingshot in front of him for sportsman 500 win. buff did the same thing to him a few races before to win the 350 sportsman race, mr. daytona took second.

    i love mr. daytona!

    i love you too joe.

    texy

yah, i know. its a joke, aaron and i tease him about winning daytona like 8 times every time we see him. mostly cause chris' byline was always, "well, it was good enough to win daytona" we all know he only won once. but thats 1 more time than most everyone here. and one more time than ill probably win it. when aaron finally send my wheel, im going to change my signature to ....."tex, when are you going to come take this..."

i wont spoil it for everyone yet.

(actually, i really dont care about the you know what)

    aaron, send my wheel.
