    mounting a fairing

    i got this fairing a couple of months back for a good price. i'm wondering if anyone here might have a clue on how to mount the thing?

    I think you put it on the front of the bike, near the headlight.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

    Where the hell are all my 10mm wrenches?

    if you bought the one in the auction the mounts are included and they bolt to the handlebar. if you don't have the mounts Maier has a very similar fairing that uses the same style of mounting brackets and you can buy them seperatly from maier.

    Although I am not a big fan of handlebar mounted fairings (because the wind can push the bar around) those smaller ones aren't that hard to mount if you keep the mounts close to the triple clamp (the further out you go on the handlebar the more leverage the wind has on your steering).
