Working on a Honda 175 with SL350 carbs.
When setting the float level I measured from the side cut out about the same distance as the gasket surface. I set both floats to 25mm. After reassembly I have a hard time getting the bike to idle. I am trying to set the idle around 1800. Bike is also hard to restart when hot after this adjustment.
Should the 25mm be measured from the lip of the carb body? It is a small difference in float level but would it make a difference in getting the bike to idle?
I don’t need the bike to sit at idle very long. Just long enough to get to the starting grid. Then it running WFO most of the day.
