    Mid-Ohio

Just got an email from the AMA announcing online registration is open. I don't recall, did everyone have to buy a weekend ticket to the event in addition to registering to race last year?

And check out the guy in the Friday picture - http://www.midohio.com/Store/Tickets...otorcycle-Days.

    That guy looks fast.

bj - with registration you got a weekend ticket in the past. I assume that's still the case.

    Fast, fat, hairy....whatever.

The AMA site say everyone will need to purchase a separate $35 weekend pass, including racers. I know we used to get entry at no cost for the racer and one pit crew. Guess it's not like that anymore. Just another case of The Man sticking it to the little guy, right Craig?

Another reason I stopped racing at NHMS ...racers having to pay for admission into the track (pit pass)....so we can provide the entertainment for other people paying to enter to the track to watch. I mean, were we freakin renting the track or not? If the club was renting the freakin track, why do the members have to pay the track again to get in?

Ahhh.... never mind, it's not my problem anymore.

The Mid-Ohio event was the only event I knew of that the registered racers didn't have to pay a gate fee. That and the NEMM event that I raced at. Every other event I had to pay a gate fee. So it's not just NHIS that was sticking it to the little guy.

so BJ - you planning on going to Mid-Ohio? Should I fill out the paperwork for the same garage?

Yeah Craig, Mid-O won out over Mosport. I think JoeT and Drew will be in too but even if they aren't, I am.
