Well im going to try to post some of the pics from mid-ohio. We had a great time meeting alot of board members. I thionk Rick and I talked for 4 days stright! we are going to have a few magizine articles writen about us so Ill keep you all posted. We meet so many great people in Ohio and their was a ton of interest in the project and I bought the basis for the next project..... you are gonna love this one! The only trouble is that it may take 2 years to finish it. Rick and I have alot on our plate for next school year, I have to write cirriclum for 4 courses that start this comming year and trouble shoot them as I teach them, Rick has to work on a new family and a building project. But we are going to keep you all posted on everything.
yeah, it was great to meet both of you and to check out the bikes. cool that you were pitted right nearby! awesome that you made it. im sure you got tons of cool responses to the bikes too. you guys did a great job on the bikes. they look sweet!
It was awesome finally meeting you guys after reading about your journey on here. The bikes really did look good. You and your students did an awesome job. Glad you could make the trip out and you deserve all the support you received. I am excited to read about it!
Had a guy that's not a member of this board and knows nothing about your project mention a teacher at Mid O with a couple of cool bikes built by students.....you're famous!
yeah, my buddy chris didnt know anything about you guys before he stopped by mid o and knew where you guys were before i saw you.
the bikes are real attention getters.
Thanks all. Im trying to get the school to allow me to start an on running club at the school. We'll see what we can do. and a little FYI Rick called me last night and told me he powered up the front wheel in 2nd gear!!! Mine needs some more tuning and a new head gasket. can any one tell me whare to get a .10 copper headgasket?? Im running a .42 with out decking the head, Rick is runnind a .20 decked head and a stock head gasket so I figure we should be in the same compression range if I get a .10.
Ill keep you all up on things as they pop up
