Dirt bike (or small street) engine

Looking around for a different engine for the CR125. This one needs a couple hundred in parts to make it run, but I could part the motor for a couple hundered and spend that money on a different engine. Anyone have a reasonably powerful dirt bike motor? Prefer over 20ish HP, so 250-650cc 4 stroke or >125cc (water cooled) 2 stroke. I'd prefer a 4 stroke, though. Sure, the 2T stuff is light as hell, but not nearly as long-lived or reliable as a 4T. I can make anything fit and work, but it would be nice to have the CDI and carb. There aren't any junkyards here, unfortunately, so I can't go scavenge. Anyone?

Put a CB350 in it. They are cheap and a million parts available,

The 350-4 is a good motor, but a little on the wide (and heavy) side. I was thinking of a single or maybe a twin. What kind of power can you get out of a 350 twin in moderate tune?

Not too shabby. The CR frame and swingarm should be lighter than a CB 350 frame as well. I'd love to have a CRF450R motor in it, but that would cost big bucks.
