some people are like slinkies, basically useless but they still make me smile when i push them down the stairs

hey cool. way to go. my coke addiction is pretty bad. but i hear its better than pepsi.

seriously, way to go. putting that shit up your nose is fun every once in a while, but being addicted to it is bad news.

now go have a pepsi.

yup, had a 1500-2000 dollar a week habit. i was dealing and transporting to support the habit. funny though most recovering cocaine addicts cant drink or anything else at all, i can drink beer till i fall now and though i may WANT that shit i just think about what life was like then and the desire just goes right away. horses, sohc hondas and cats are my drugs of choice now lol.

Congratulations, that great! That last sentence reminds me of something I told my Dad one day when he came over & saw my 7 bikes lined up in a 1-car garage, and was shaking his head like I'm crazy:

"Well, Dad, maybe I should take up something less expensive and dangerous, like Crack Cocaine!" (of course I was J/K)

He kind of saw my point & eventually came around to understand it's a better addiction to have. I do like a bit of inebriation now & then, but motorcycles are my true drug of choice, especially old 2-strokes!

I'm new to the forum, first post as a matter of fact. You're thread grabbed my attention. My mom struggled with a cocaine addiction for the better part of two decades, a struggle she ultimately lost three years ago. What you've done for yourself is truly, truly remarkable. Growing up around the drug, its users and its dealers, I understand it all too well. I don't know you personally, I've never even met you and I may be in no position to say this but I'm proud of you. Cheers to the first decade and many to come!

jb, when my grandmother dies last week there were 3 vials of oral morphine left over. i begged my mom to keep them for me. well, kinda for you. the social servies nurse flushed them. i told my mom she should have hid them before she got there. duh. everyone knows that!
