anyone have a good source for a honda 160 cam chain and clutch plates (both) or can I just change the fibre ones. The clutch is not giving any trouble but I'm doing the top-end and as long as it is out of the frame..., street use.

Wouldn't bother replacing the metal plates unless they appear to have a problem...never seen any even close to worn out or over heated.

The CB175 cam chain should also fit the CB160. Although the part numbers might be different because they might have gone to a thicker chain (still fits) for the 175.
I make up my own rivet link chains from "endless" chains and have to remove a few links from them. CB175 chains usually aren't too hard to find.

thanks JB, found a chain at servicehonda.com, they even had a right side air filter.

I'm not that worried about the clutch.
