Asking for info/help with removing the clutch assembly for
a 1967 Honda S90. Both outer and inner(bearing) covers
removed. Also removed nut and "tab" lock washer. However
there is another washer with notches that is preventing the
clutch from coming off. It appears to be catching on the threads
of the shaft and I don't want to ruin the threads of course.
This "notched washer" is not on any repair manual pages or
the appropriate bike parts list. Does anyone have any experience
or advice for this. I am stumped ! Thanks in Advance!

I think you need to start by removing the next casing, I don't think the bell housing can clear the inspection cover. Found a video that might be worth the watch, at least it shows all the parts that might be hanging up:

bit of a long video but comprehensive, hope it helps some.

Removed the case and she slid right off....it's a bit of an optical illusion
that it would fit through the hole....
I thought that toothed ring was catching on the crank threads !
Thanks much See pic.
