I believe it will run , if invest some time.

Hello , all never introduced myself just lurker then signed up so I could jump in with comments. My apologies I have never used social media before. This project to get this on the road should be possible with what skills I have also this forum and the world wide web to search for parts.
My parents bought this bike new in 1974 when I was 6. They would ride in groups , sometimes my grandparents on his cb 360 , yeah two people not small people either. My grandfather bought the 750 from my dad at some point 79, 80? Was traveling the Kancamagus Highway NH popular tourist route. He went off the road up over the handlebars and grandmother too! minor injuries, lost wedding ring stone bent handlebars broken speedo lens. Then Storage I have had it in my basement for 11 years . I was told the original pipes rusted out don't know what this style or brand replacements are? So I will attempt to get it running replace all that is worn out or damaged. This may take a long , long time. I m sure I will have many questions. I have a Clymers manual & original owners manual .Hopefully get some custom shocks at some time.

your sarcasm detector is good old man i cannot recommend any manual but the official
honda factory service manual get it and use it only, downloads are available online to print it out
i am not a socialist
there are some important things to check on high milaege sohc 750's
i dont know much about them
if its been sitting forever i wouldn't even crank it over until the entire oil system tank and lines have checked out and drained refilled
dfo not used any ignition contact points but japanese or nos honda parts
replacement items before starting are the sparkplugs the ngk plug caps ,condensores points
sounds like you have yor head on straight
sohc4 is a good resource

@K9Swine - looks like you're able to attach images just fine! If you want to insert in line images to add descriptions (text) in between, use the insert image (picture of a tree icon) like so:

caferacer1.JPG

And this window will appear:

caferacer2.JPG

After you've chosen your file, be sure to hit the 'upload file(s)' button below and they'll be inserted exactly as I've shown here. If you have any issues and/or need further assistance, let us know. :) Otherwise, happy posting!

Cheers,
Natalie
