I'd be going for a new tank. Should last many years maintenance-free.
I agree.

I haven't taken any measurements yet but I've found a couple on eBay.

Aside from the occasional plugged up pilot jet from the rusty tank and the wiring it's starts easy and runs well. It smokes like a "choo-choo" train but it's all good.

I'd be careful about buying a generic fuel tank - they can't fit every model. I often do a search on Ebay for stuff for the Aprilia Shiver and a whole bunch of crap comes up saying 'fits Aprilia Shiver' and I KNOW that that stuff doesn't fit my bike.

Again.....I haven't taken any measurements yet but I wonder how close the CG125 tank/frame/measurements/fitment would be to a CB125. I'm guessing close.

Weather's been perfect around here for riding so everything seems to be on the back burner.... But I mustered up enough energy to get a few things done.

Looks like the new wiring harness and rectifier was just what the doctor ordered....what a difference. It's charging now and the lights are brighter and things are starting to work as they should. Still need a whole bunch more little things but it's nice to make progress.

6.52V at idle and 6.63V at 3000.......vs before with engine off 6.28V then when idling 6.16V....going the wrong direction.

Took the little 125 to our weekly cruise/car show. Aside from the smoking she ran great.

Still have some wiring issues like if you run with the lights on sometimes it will die when you come to a stop and will not restart until you turn off the lights....then she starts back up like nothing happened....weird. With that said all the lighting works and it's charging and it's a one kick start and it stops and it handles just fine.

It's just a fun little machine. If your having a bad day or are stressed out a simple ride on this thing seems to make all the world's problems go away. I always find excuses to make a store run.
