I just posted a note regarding a BSA Starfire as a vintage racing candidate and forgot to mention that I already own a Honda CB200 (not running but not far from it). Is this bike a good track possibility?
In our club you could most likely race the CB200 in 200gp class if you have a drum brake on the front....which would work better than the crappy cable/disk that came on them.
I'm sure there is a spot for them in other clubs as well. It's kind of a dog without some work though, I think a stock CB175 makes more hp.
We got you covered though...I know the CB175/200 pretty well and Aaron knows the BSAs.

the cb200 can make a great ride in the w.e.r.a. 250 g.p. class. there are plenty of guys that race those models. also ahrma has a 200g.p. class that you can run, then bump up into the 250g.p. class.
good luck,
tex
