This is my 2nd post here. I'm starting a Goldwing Cafe Racer build and am in need of a little help. Seems my first post in the New Members section got lost in the abyss. Anway....

I'm trying to remove the fuel tank from this 78 Goldwing. I've followed all the steps in the shop manual and the tank WILL NOT BUDGE. I'm trying to move it back into the frame but it's not going anywhere. It's like the tank is still bolted in somewhere. The seat brace is removed. The fenders are removed. The tank bolt on the back of the tank is removed. The petcock is removed. The battery box is removed. I'm kinda lost for ideas on what's still holding it in. Does anyone have some advice?

Thanks in advance.

ah yes a com,mon issue she is wedged
you need lube any kind of oil or gease heated up to flow
pour it top center so it fiows evenly down and around the sides/bottom
then carefully pry up with something like 1x2 wood stakes
