Here's the story. This was my first street bike I ever had when I was 14, I'm 30 now. I didn't even know we still had this bike up until about 6 months ago. Found out it's been in my gma's shed for the last 12+ years. The shed had a tree fall on it years ago during hurricane rita, luckily the bike was under something and didn't have any weight of that tree on it.

Here's what I got. Finally pulled her out of there today.

I'm not gonna start workin on her immediately. Probably a month or so. Need to price everything, look around, see what I can find and see how much this project is gonna cost.

The frame is straight and doesn't seem to be rusted through. Swing arm may need to be replaced. But this is mainly gonna be a HUGE learning experience for me since I know very little about bikes still.

Tim

p.s. Sorry for the crappy pics. I didn't expect to get her out today and didnt have a decent camera. I'll get some more later.

Thanks Tyler. This bike definately means a lot. Gonna look around at a salvage yard sometime this week that's close by, see what they have.

You'd be surprised how much you can clean up with a good sandblaster... BTW - was this a peddle bike or did it once have an engine??? Good luck on the project

Yea, first thing I'm gonna do when I get to it is pull her apart and sand that frame down. Paint it up.

It was never a peddle bike. Was the normal cb125 with kickstart. No electric start if I remember correctrly. Around 8k miles on the speedo.

Nathan,

Thanks. When I figure out what I need, I'll definately shoot you a tell first. Funds are goin' to my 98' srad atm. That tank looks killer btw. Really nice.

Are the 125cc engines pretty much the same for the cl,cb, and sl models from 68(?) to 85?

I've checked out this site.. http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Honda_CB125

It seems like it's pretty much the same engine through all the years.
