Looks like my October 2nd and 3rd National championship event is really coming together nicely  we have top riders from across Canada registered to attend or support the event.

I'll be posting up some photos of the event here later for those having interest.

9 champions registered, how cool is that. Glad I set the sections real hard.
39 riders with all classes represented. Two different loops over 2 days, 3 loops of 10 sections each day (plus one bonus section for the advanced, expert and champion riders on Sunday)
yes to the pre-registration, part of that is covid requirements and security considerations.

Fall colours are going to be great, but they are calling for 2 days of rain on the weekend, that's not great. Good thing we ride trials no matter how bad the weather gets. I turned my front yard into a 5 acre campground lol

Can you imagine this one in the pouring rain  we made 3 more like it :alien: you gotta be hardcore to click it up into third gear, pin the throttle and send it up something like that, then once you land it you get to come back down something stupid slippery and do two more hard things. This one's called Stone Bridge, it will be the entrance to section 2 on Sunday

 The 2-day event was a Huge success both days, despite rain both days, checkers were awesome, riders performed awesome under the conditions and I even had the opportunity to ride minder for Sean Bird on his last lap after he broke his ribs. Said he could feel the ribs popping in and out so I strapped a neoprene life vest on him real tight :alien: and he finished the trial like that, rode beyond awesome.

I didn't get a chance to take photos or video but I'm sure others did. Results are up on the ATA site

Found some video of the event to share:
I set out to host nationals here every three years long time ago, covid kind of disrupted that schedule. I can request to do as many events as I care to put on, CMA never gave me a hard time. This was the best 2-day rain trial I ever put on, that's for sure.

oooo I just seen the part where Sean busted his ribs before I strapped the life preserver on him so he cold finish the race, too bad they didn't get video of him riding after that, his rides up retard mountain, exhibition and sunset was absolutely spectacular.
... if you ever bust your ribs that really works by the way. Watercraft life preserver with 3 chest straps tightened up just enough to stop your ribs from popping in and out when you breathe can be very helpful if you want to keep riding.
