Just got back from the Dyno. The Ducati now has 32 rear wheel HP.

Lets hope it stays together.

My 250 has 20hp last time I dynoed it. I think I am screwed in the 250 class if I head north next year. Maybe I'll call it a 200. I mean, what's a few extra cc among friends? Seriously though, why even keep continuing with my 250 Honda? To add 12 hp would require god knows what. Plus it would have to drop 30lbs and its still only a 4 speed, and Nova won't even make the 5 speed anymore, even if I had the $2000 for one.

Oh well.

PS, Can I also be called Champ?????????

Chris, i think next time you come north you'll do just fine. I'd be more worried about turk and his rocketship of a Bultaco.

Of course you can be called "Champ"!!!!! Lots of responsibility comes with the name though.

I have vivid memories of our races. Tons of fun. You sure did give me a spankin' a few times!!!!!

Chris, come on up north, I've only got 23hp and I've manage to stay in front of ...err...certain people running 250 Ducs every time we've met.

I'd have no problem with you running in 200gp with me....I know what you are giving up with that engine. I'd be proud to race with such a nice bike. With your size and my extra ponies we'd have about an even playing field. They ought to let the older 250 hawks run in 200gp, everyone knows what their builders are dealing with, maybe it would get more of them on the track.

Thanks for the invite. You know I'll be up at least once this comeing year, count on it. I'll run in the 250 class. The bike always seems to go fater than the HP numbers would indicate. I need a new crank in it, I think that would help the acceleration some.

Add a hundred and seventeen cc's and run 350gp. It would be easier to make a dcent 350 out of that bike then a competive 250. My forks haven't arrived yet either.

hey aaron, i think chris might have his 250 back together for summit. he claims the jugs are done. im looking forward to seeing that race big time. you on your 175 and him on his 250. its going to be close for getting it backtogether though. ill bring your forks when we go to summit. also, rick randall has a tomiselli throttle for me. if you can grab that and toss it in your van. i need it for a project im working on. my bikes looking sweet. got the front end mounted up last night. the powder coat looks awesome. it matches my black fork sliders perfectly. its very very cool looking. and chris has a ride on the r6 for the comming summit date too. bring zach. he can run one of the solo20s.
