I think that is an ad making fun of the guy trying to get $2000 for his 350 four.

An excellent condition 350Four should only be about $900 tops. Those bikes are dangerously slow and the brakes are only a little better than the cb350 twin drum (which isn't saying much). They are excellent beginner bikes but really nobody wants them. If they fell of the face of the motorcycle earth I don't think anybody would miss them.

They are however like a rock when it comes to reliability. One of the few 70's 100,000 mile bikes honda made and will start every time but man are they slow.and heavy, don;t forget heavy.

cool looking though.

Geeto is right, not real peppy mostly due to the weight. Put them in lighter trim (mostly exhaust, blinkers, etc) and they're only 5hp shy of the 400f. I think they make great caferacers due to the fact that they're not nearly as common as the other fours. Not screamers but cool nonetheless.

Also, replace the rear shocks and for the weight they handle surprisingly well. My first two racebikes were 350/4's

they do handle well (I forgot about that). They do make great cafe racers espcially if you keep the stock tank and repaint them. It is really easy to get the look right. I had a friend in New Orleans with one that we mounted a recovered honda dream set on, ditched all the blinkers, put on fiberglass fenders and old lucas style lights and painted it like a mach3 duati single with the tank lettering reading HONDUCATI. With english style flat bars it really looked liek something a 1960's rocker would have built. That bike had a great look and sound. unfortunatly my friend wrecked it twice because he couldn't stop in time. He was used to more modern brakes and you really gotta squeeze the lever to get 70's honda discs to stop. If you weight close to 200 lbs you aren't going to be able to pull 2 up on the bike (i think it's maximum weight loading is like 300 but I would be surprised if it is even that much). The 400f may only make 5 peak more hp but it accelerates a heck of a lot quicker. They way highway on ramps are here in NY riding that bike on the LIE would be scary. IT is unfortunate that people in NYC think their bikes are worth twice what they are since for $900 it would be a great city bike but for $2000 you are better of getting a cb750 or kz900.

Don't get me wrong it was a funny joke, but with the price of motorcycles in NY being what they are it isn't that far from the truth. Asking $2000 for a cb350F might as well be asking $12000 for the junker in the picture.
