You know you can split any timing chain with a chain breaker...use a rivet link and some lock wire to attach the new chain to the old one...pull it through the system...connect the ends of the new chain with the rivet link. Gotta have the new chain exactly the right number of links of course...including the rivet link.

It's worth it to find a chain that takes a rivet link, that matches the OEM size (number), doesn't matter if it's longer you can remove the extra links. I keep a couple of spare chains and a ten pack of rivet links.
