so whats the favorite setup for cb550's?? pipe and carbs?? i think i have an 18" front at the shop that'll drop in. anyone have this setup??

anyone got a deal on tires?? id like some avons. stock rims. also looking for a lucas tailight. not the bullet, the badge shaped one. and champ, i might be dropping you a note about those bars.

stock rims, but the front is a 19" im hoping for an 18 front. when i have time at the shop and can get it there, i'll do a mock up and see.

what do you want for em?? i just need street tires, and id like some venoms or roadruners.

$25 a piece. I have a 18 inch front end drum brake/chromw wheel if you want it for $25.00. I have a great brand new avon rr on a 450 rear wheel that is in great condition. Sell that for $50.00. I think I paid at least 125 for the tire . . . never been run.

joe, I put an 18 front on my 550 from my first racebike last summer and I like it a lot. I'm running avons, sprint compound am22 and 23. the rear is the one you sold me last year for 10 bucks. the guys who mounted it were bitching about how hard it was, they could barely get it on with a machine (I mean mount the tire). my pipe is something I got off ebay nos, not sure of the make, sounds pretty cool. my carbs are a little rich at 105 mains with k&n's, can't remember the rest of the settings.
