He needs main jet holders not jets. Your local dealer doesn't carry them. If they do, they are old stock. He also wants stock exhaust not after market. He would like to make the bike as close to stock as possible with out turning it in to a restoration.

Also Chuck... I didn't know Tucker Rocky or MAC were out of Beverly. Next time I head in your direction I'd like to stop in to both of those local shops.

Chuckles I know you have atleast the main jet holders. It's his first bike and he could use the help.

chuck...mr motorcycle dealer guy, tucker rocky is only a wholesaler. )you should know that!!!) ordering from them, if you could do it, would take money from the local guy. if you dont have frontage, you cant get an account. ive tried. alot of dealers, that ive found, wont even let you see the catalog yourself. i dont know why. mac doesnt make a 2-1 pipe for the cb/2 anymore. no one does. every once in a while you can stumble onto one, but you cant just swing by the motorcycle shop and order one anymore. mac made one (ive had several emails back and forth to them when i was looking) and so did hooker. neither company makes them anymore. ebays a good place to look and sometimes you can dig one up at that old motorcycle shop that has shelves piled with crap.

good luck finding them. if youre looking for some real deals, david silver would be the place id look. (see the links page) also, tom at delux works honda in california probably has a line on some real deal cl pipes. they are going to be pricey though.

i found that the one that rots is the one that is welded to the head pipe. the bottom one rots i think. the top one you can disconnect, but it never rots. really frustrating. i have leg shields etc if you need them. we can work a trade maybe for something. ive got one of the head pipes and maybe the top muffler. the pipe that doesnt rot i have good still. the bottom one i sawed off and it had a hole in muffler that was crapassed welded anyway.

i have the jet holder clips youre looking for too. get me your address and i'll drop em in the mail on monday. no problem. you want the little black clip that holds the pressure on the jets correcto?? the thing that looks like a bird flying.

i'll see what i can dig up for that exhaust too. maybe i can drop that in the box. since im moving now, the more junk i can mail, the less i'll have to move! i'll see what i can dig up and get a pic posted.

aaron, why are you being so nice to this person?? hes just going to end up hating you like eveyone else does.

ok, i got the pipes still. the bottom one is the one thats 2 parts. i have both in pretty good shape. the weird packing shit they used to seal em up is gone. i think it was some kind of probably asbestos packing that resembled cardboard but was silver in color. so the head pipe is too big the way it sets now but it is definitely the correct one. the outer show pipe of the tail pipe is also gone. and i think someone tried to weld the internal pipe back on too. these came off of a bike with about 8k on the clock. maybe you can reuse what you have or there is something out there that will work just the same for the packing thing though. the top i sawzalled off and still have. there is a hole about the size of your thumb in the top front of the muffler. it was welded up and and rerotted. that pipe is oem welded to the top can. so there really isnt much you can do once it starts to go. i have both parts though. you could sleeve em and youd be good to go. the top aint pretty, but it can be fixed by someone who has access to a welder and can make it pretty. hint hint... i have the three shields too. not all of the screws and bolts but those are easy. these things are heavy. you pay the shipping on the pipes, and they are yours. the one good one is actually probably worth a little money, so it'll probably be worth it. this is probably the best deal you'll get. im probably an idiot for giving this stuff away, but what the fuck. oh yeah, you gotta take it all. if you want pics, drop me a line and i'll post em.

i had a crazy idea that i was going to do a 2-1 high pipe setup on this thing. use a collecting box and put a supertrapp on it. it'll never happen. but you might have the same crazy idea now.

let me know

i would like a 2 into 2 exhaust, not a 2 into 1....that is, unless it would look and sound as good or better than the thin stubby pipes i have on there now. as for the main jet holders, could you post a picture , so i know they are what i'm looking for. i wouldn't want to put you through the trouble if they aren't what i need. i think they are made of brass, 1 1/4 inches long, have 8 or so small holes in them and a ridge around the top with a little notched thing above that. the other end tapers to a slight point. it's a hollow tube. on mine, the notched tip broke off of each one. the jet sits on top of that notch. there's my problem. i don't know why carb kits don't contain this essential piece. wait, let me try to attach a picture of them...

duh, i thought you were looking for cl pipes. not cb's. i have a pile of header pipes here if you need those. no mufflers though. you should be able to get some decent pipes though for it. they are pretty available in a stock look.

wassup with those needle/jet parts youre looking for.

also, aaron, i used to buy jets from weymouth honda for my race bike. they had a big plastic organizer case with tons of them in it. i bought 2 sizes over and under when i was rejetting for my bike originally. i also got a free nos throttle cable for my bike from the shop here. i went in looking for throttle cables and the guy said hang on a minute and shows up back at the counter with one like 5 mins later. he says "is this it you think?" and said sure and took it. cant buy them from honda anymore. original grey with the correct markings on it. its hanging on the wall in my garage getting dust piled on it. i know i know, i should use it on my race bike.

you do know i crash right??
