Heehehehheee......... I have farted into the seat of this one. Not out of disrespect but out of having to push it up a hill in 100 degree Ohio sunshine after having shotgunned 2 corn dogs. I did get to ride it down the hill which I have to admit gave me a little bit of a chubby.
Was the motor running when you farted and rode it down the hill?
Back in 2000 the three of us below were doing plug chops to prep the bike for DuHamel Sr to ride at Daytona. We were in an industrial park on the outskirts of town after dark. After about 6 passes the cops showed up to check out the noise. Fortunately one was an old bike fan and they laughed it off.

nope, Otherwise I wouldn't have had to push it up the hill in the heat and therefore cause my intestinal distress. No crank, no rods, no pistons. I forget what was wrong with it and why the engine had to come apart but while it was apart the bike was needed for static displays so it was thrown back together just to look like it ran and, well, it's been in the present owner's office ever since. He does mean for it to get put back together, but considering we haven't even fixed the crash damage from last year's mid-O fiasco.....doubt it ever will.

maybe a ow48 500cc inline 4 w/ outside reverse cyc..
Interesting rivets on the swingarm brace. Funny how spindly the frames were up into the early 80s.

Reverse cylinders... I always wondered how much sake was consumed before that was considered a good idea. Sure, it looks great on paper. Straight expansion chambers and all. But they need to be shorter and you need to fool with an airbox that somehow needs to fit around the radiator and front wheel.

"OW48" I think is a stock(ish) TZ500H but don't quote me on that. They flipped the outer pair to avoid having 4 fat pipes under the motor where there's just not enough room. Ingenious solution.

I'd like to share this picture with some friends on Facebook in my "Found Coolness" album. But wanted to ask if it's okay and if there was a preferred way that you would like me to attribute the photo to you. Normally I put the picture up and then post the web link to where I found it. So that would be this thread on this forum. If you would like a direct link to a page of yours I could do that too.

Of if you would prefer that I not share your image let me know that too.

I won't do anything until I hear from you about it.

Cool Thread BTW!

Man, some of those pictures make me miss racing. Others remind me what a pain in the ass it can be, and glad I quit.
Thanks for posting them.
