Trialscat, I just did a complete overhaul on my DOHC 750. Best thing you can do is get a GOOD manual. Better yet, get 2. I used a Haynes manual for reference, but found some areas lacking enough detail/photos. One of the other guys here just posted this link (ftp://manuals.homeftp.net/)that has factory manuals available. I downloaded the dohc manual and looked at it, I wish I had it when I did my rebuild, it has some better info and different pictures. You may have to copy and paste that link into your browser, I don't think I inserted it correctly.

BTW, I got all my parts at the Honda dealer, much better quality for not much more money. The only thing I bought off OBB was a stator, it was about 200 dollars cheaper!!!

Where the hell are all my 10mm wrenches?
