there are a couple of people out there building these small engines. There used to be a guy who would built a whole RC car using these engines too and somewhere on the net is a 1/4 scale functional v-10 viper replica (with FI).

My favorite was the 1/4 scale t-bucket with the functional v-8, looked like the real thing.

I hear ya. There's also a dude that was building replica Offenhousers. You could run the engine on a stand on your desk. Ultimate office toy. I think he also made an aircraft engine..

wellll noooowww this all brings back my pre driving youth years.Until I turned 14 I used to be a model nut for years and years ...one day I just realized all the detail and work and "I STILL COULDNT DRIVE IT" I started saving and bought my first sports car at 16 I didnt yet drive but now I had something I could put all the detail into and then drive it.
Very nice engine ...but......!
