Hey guys, long time I know, but I was forced out of hibernation due to an odd dilemma.

There's a rear wheel that I would like to get, but they don't ship to Canada. I was wondering if someone here could have it shipped to them, and then they ship it to me?

Here's the item.

I'm pretty sure this will work on my bike (same rear axle size?) but if not, please tell me.

I am pretty sure I have one of those in the attic. If you want it you can have it for the price of the auction plus shipping. I've never shipped to canada but I am not against it.

However - why do you want a 16" wheel? The customs use a 16" comstar vs the larger 18" some of the K bikes used. It used to be an old trick to get that big fat gumball rear tire look, but it doesn't improve the handeling unless you swap the front to a 16" as well (good luck finding one).

I'm 99% sure that will fit your bike.

The reason why I wanna swap it is because mine is a 17 right now, and tires for that rim are limited to 1 or 2. With the 16, or an 18 if I could find one, there are like 10 tires I can choose from.

If you have one, comstar of course, I'd be happy to buy it.

PS - Is it just the rim? The one on ebay has a usable tire as well, but just wondering.

I believe mine is just the rim, axle and brake. Mine is off an 80 or 81 custom and looks identical. I'll pull it out, take a picture, and you can make me an offer then. I usually assume that tires on rims sold on ebay are junk so I didn't pay attenton that it had a good conti. On the bright side it is easier to ship.
