Keep in mind even with a "freight forwarder" you may still need to email the seller and explain you have a US address to ship to. I forward stuff for some of the VRRA guys and I've heard them bitch (rightfully so) about winning an item only to have the seller refuse to ship or delete their bid because they are not in the US.
Personally, I think it's a dumb practice but I guess some people are too dumb or lazy to fill out a customs form.
