hey arron, you were telling me that you could trail the brakes into t3 at louden until you could touch your knee. are you running a street compound on the front of your beeza?? just wondering. it seems like you dont need brakes too much but if your holding the brake going in, that doesnt sound like its hooking up so well. either that or you are a master at brake trailing. im going to try and remember this stuff for next year, im just letting you know now! got any new slots lately?? also, i have a package im sending out to you. its a little present for you from me. im going to send it to the shop unless you tell me different.

Joe,
I'm running race compound Avons and a stock Triumph brake on front, but the only way I can pass anyone with a no horsepower 250 is to get by them on the inside just before the they turn in, so I just pray and turn in with my front brake trailing.

Yes on the slots. I have 7, but I waiting to get this 1963 Jag. I only have 2 fast cars, the rest are all vintage. I'm going to be selling a GB Track Lola 1971 replica blah, blah. Cool car, brand new, still in its box, never been run. I wanted only one fast car and I have the Porsche 917 (FLY) so thats why I'm going to sell the other.

I've got plans for the Endurance race, but I figured Jeremia would have talked to you about riding with you. I would do it, I just hate shifting on the left, and then going back to the right.

If I had race compound brakes I would have ate it in 3 along time ago.

hmmm, plans that involve a righty huh??? i guess we'll see you in the paddock covered in grease and oil about half way through huh?? i sent your gift out today. you should have it fri or saturday. i havent bought anything thats not motorcycle related except for a biscuit joiner lately, so slot cars havent even been a thought. besides, you'll smoke me anyway im sure.

i figured you were running a non race compound. but it seems like its working great for you. thats cool. i'll call eric kalamaja and see whats up with my parts.

mikes birthday is friday. he is now as old as dirt. aaron, you should give him a call or drop him some perverted email. he'll like that. he and tim courts want to ride cross country. they are leaving may 1. hes going to fly to s.f. and buy a bike there and try and ride it back across country. he was looking at some ducati from the late 70s or early eighties. eeeesh. anyway, are planning on letting any of us in on your plans??

I'm riding with "The Knife" for the endurance race. Also Joe you did get the fact that I have regular brake pads right and not fancy race brakes. I word things screwy so I didn't know if you were mislead by my improper English.

And I plan on staying in front of Jeremy as far as the covered in oil comment. Either that or getting a set of little wipers for my helmet. I think you jap straddlers should team up and give Tony and I some competition.

yeah, real funny. improper english on a proper english bike. too confusing. oh, and we'll be riding my bike not the leaker. its hard enough to get gas into the bikes much less 2 qts of oil at every stop!! i figured out your terminology. i started to wonder about your brake shoes recently after you told me you could hold the brake that long. actually what i thought was, 'damned, hes good if he can trail the brakes til his knee touches' then i thought to myself, "either that or his brakes really suck' then i thought, 'well, if i was that underpowered and going that slow, i wouldnt use my brakes either'....actually i thought to myself that you must not have vintage brake brakes. cuz i think you would have chewed in 3 too. and if i were you, i wouldnt put them in until you realize youre going too fast into corners. and for that matter, you might not have to since your bike handles so well. especially now that its going to be lighter.

anyway....are you riding tonys bike??? that id really like to see. i think that would be tre-cool. what kind of power is that bike puttin out anyway??? do you have any idea?? whos going to be your 3rd rider??

hey jeremy, think we should pitch in and get aaron some tear-offs for when we pass him???

i think i might stick around the track on sunday to check out some of the kart racing. if you guys are intersted in seeing it, let me know. id only stay if i can rope someone in to watch also.

Joe,
Whats the schedule for that weekend. race, endurance, kart... ? Anyway The good news is my new scoot will be probably be done in about a week. The bad news is my new motor wont be done for a while longer. Joe I'll help pitch in for tear-offs if you think you could grab one at speeds "The Knife" and I will be going by. Although we might have to slow down when we go by to clear the snail tracks. Also I'm under the impression that you only need 2 riders and lap counter guy. Or do you need 3 riders?

The bike we are riding is top secret.
