I have a 1982 suzuki gs850g. I put a aftermarket rpm gauge on. There is a rpm cable which the new gauge doesn't have a slot for the cable how soon plug the cable hole from the engine?

totally not joking, glue a coin over the hole. Old hot rodders trick. look it up. don't get any glue in the drive/head.
