not that your project isn't interesting..... but i am kinda pressd for spare time ... my wife is undergoing treatment for cancer and i have a two year old son.
i have a limited collection of tooling for replica parts and some custom stuff of mine. but everything is for common bikes that race in our club. i have a list of crap to build for certain individuals. it has to be a part that i am interested in for personal reasons, a high payin gig etc etc to get me to bust out a custom thing. sometimes it just ain't worth it.

I gotcha, I don't own a cb350, 450 or 175, but there is a market for the 77-78 supersport sidecovers, originals are getting over $100 off ebay. I figured if it was cheap enough to do the mold I would either pay for the mold or get a group together for a bulk purchase. but if you heart ain't in it I understand. I know the feeling when your hobby feels like a second job.quote:
i could...but.......
cases are cool, but if ya laid it down, kiss them goodbye. i hate making clearcoated carbon because it is cheesy. i like to leave things raw out of the mold or paint em. 7 layers of clearcoat with wetsanding and buffing is silly for a racebike. i would rather eat glass.
i really don't have time to mold side covers cause my heart is not into 750 hondas. i build custon sailboats and powerboats all day long. so if i can't gain anything from it.. than the hell with it.
i know i sound kinda nasty, but i have been screwed over too many times cause i am too damn nice.
now if ya want stuff for your cb 350 or 450 or a 175.. now your talkin my language.
