I'm thinking about buying a CB750 and tearing down and converting it to a cafe, but I don't have a lot of experience. I found a bike for $600 bones, but the guy who's selling says: "it drians the battery after a couple hours of ride time not to sure where the
drain is coming from but when you pull the battery cable off it will only run in the high rpms most likely an easy fix since it will run for two or three hours before it dies."

Just need some advice. Should I go for it and it would be an easy fix, or am I going to regret it? Or, if any of you guys have a 750 or 550 for sale, let me know. Thanks for the help.

Electrical problems suck. Could be a bad regulator or a faulty ground.
If you have a multimeter, a manual, and time it could be a good deal if the rest of the bike is in good shape.
