I have a hydraulic tubing bender and would like to know if anyone else here uses one... why? well, I have a few mandrels and was thinking I may have ones someone here could use and maybe just maybe someone here would have a size I need. Longshot I know but why not ask eh?

I have a Hossfeld manual machine. Not sure if the dies interchange.
I have 1 1/8" OD, 1 1/4" OD. Radius like 3.5" and 4" I think.

Just checked, yes the dies interchange with my Hossfeld #2.

I've also got the setup for edge bending flat stock, bending 1" square tube and various other stuff.

First thanks! I knew you had one and now !Dang! I was hoping you'd have the mandrels to do .75" and 1". Going to see if I can egay 'em.

I have a few sizes, I'll post 'em here and they are available if you ever need.

I have a Hossfeld style bender made by JD Squared. I have 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 1 3/4" dies. They're too heavy to ship(loan out), but if anyone needs something bent up let me know. I don't use it much since I've tried to get away from the race car stuff. My brother has one of those benchtop benders to do flat stock and what not. I've used it and can get it whenever, but repeatability is an issue. It's a cheapy Harbor Freight thing and isn't as consistant as I'd like so you end up with some waste.

I've been planning on buying a set of 1" dies.

For 3/4" just use a conduit bender if things don't have to be real precise.

The problem with the dies is, you send a set back and forth once and you've paid for half of a new set :)

Anyone on here equipped to make me some new exhaust bends? I need two elbows for my CB450 upswept exhaust .... 3" radius, 22.5 degrees, 1.75" OD with one end expanded to 1.75" ID for slip-fit.

I got a pair of 45 degree bends but they just look silly.

Xander,
That's going to be an exhaust shop job (or Headers by Ed ). Don't think any non-mandrel bender like the Hossfeld and copies can bend that tight of a radius in 1.75" OD tube.

And expanding is a bitch. I've built a couple of my own expanders, none have worked worth a shit so far. Another exhaust shop job.
