I've got a 1979 Polaris Centurion 500 (triple, liuid cooled). It was the fastest production sled in 1979. These are a popular sled with vintage snowmobile drag racers, since they're powerful relatively light (it still has leaf-sprung front suspension, which is lighter than the later independent setups, but makes the sled a real handful across bumpy fields). There's a grass drag in about two weeks ,and I'm thinking about running my sled. I know I don't have a chance at winning, since my sled would probably be in the modified class (it's bored, ported, and has huge carbs and chambers), but does anyone have any experience dragging their sled? Any tips, etc? Thanks, Jimmy
