Same here. I've been tryin to get a ride together with a friend in Yarmouth. My suggestion; meet at Portland Head Lighthouse Sunday morning, take Rt 25 out of town, Kankamangus or other route through the White Mtns. Don't know where your shop is, but if the BBQ is good, I'll check it out.
I'll be on the '97 Bandit.
If you want to check out a great restaurant in Yarmouth, Uncle Billy's BBQ. Great food, beer and Jukebox.
FWIW...

Nah to UB's. Go up a little farther to Buck's naked BBQ. in South Freeport. Much better.

Chikor, I'll see what my peeps in ME are up to, and get back to you. No wait, the 20th be a Saturday. Gotta work.

Maybe this fall, Sept/Oct? I'd also be down with a VT to ME ride, split up after we get there and stuff....

I hear you. With work, kids, racing, etc. it's hard to schedule time to ride on the street. I hate to admit how few miles I've ridden this year. Plus, it seems everybody on this forum is from somewhere else...

However, I do intend to do a ride to ME to meet a buddy in Yarmouth. The more the better, and if there're some other folks in ME that want to meet up with us to discuss the relative virtues of BBQ, British Twins or the Olsen twins, that'd be cool.

I can't reveal his true identity. He's a Tech Ed teacher in Brunswick by day... Husband/Father/Homeowner/VFR owner/Flattracker/Bass player/Carpenter/Surfer/beerdrinker in his "spare" time in yarmouth.

Just like the rest of us.

We haven't picked out the weekend yet, I'm thinkin I'll head out of VT saturday, meet up in ME for bbq Sat. night. Plan the ride back through upstate ME/NH/VT. People can join and split off for home as necc. For speed/reliability once again I'll be on a modern bike, but if you wanna ride yer cafe piece, 'ats OK by me.
