Well,
After having my arm twisted allot by my little lady I finally did it. I picked up a two seater bike so we can both ride again. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> Yeah its probally best because the rd400 was just getting alittle too nuts for me(I like my speed), and was going to kill me. So I resorted back to my roots with a plain jain bone stock 8000mile cb360T. Kind of funny because thats what I had when I first started dating her two years ago. I'm not scared to take the axe/chop saw to this one, but the one rule is I need to keep a 2 person bike. Any sugesstions on which route I should go here?
Here is my idea. Ditch the turns, stock mirrors, bars, tail light, pipes, plate mount, tool box, air box, side covers, center stand, ect. Basically anything that can free up a pound or two here and there. Then add superbiker bars, UNI POD filters, custom hand bent 2 into 2 shorty pipes with mufflers, a stock honda flat seat, bob the fenders about 3-4 inches back. Then if I get really bored I have some mag rims laying around which I can toss under it which will invole a disk brake swap in the rear. For the look of the mags it might be a pain in the butt. Colors silver frame, black mags, tank, and assecories. Shave the emblems off the tank too.
What you guys think? Or any ideas?

Not to be an ass or anything but sounds like a good bike for her to start on. Its getting a little rare around me (southern MAine) where you ever see a girl on back anymore. Some girl pulled up to me on a early 90s Gixxer last week. Thought it was kinda cool. Plus dont you remember how much it sucked to ride double? Well thats assuming you werent with some awesome new babe. Ohh dam married life uhhhhhg.

Nice,
Well she is a really awesome, and cute girl. I consider myself lucky allot of days to have a g/f that puts up with all my crap. I'm not really pushing her to learn to ride by herself yet. She needs to master a few things before I put her on the street. I've been taking her out to big empty parking lots on my XR-100 to just get used to shifting and starting and stoping. The cb360 is for myself however. Time to get something other then the 2 strokes.
The thought of mini chopping it has crossed my mind, but the bike is actually very stock and clean. It'd be a crime to chop it I think. I was going to chop my last cb360 and I have a picture of me riding it with the rear dropped to the ground. Hmmmm maybe we should take a online pole for how I should customize the bike.
CHOP? CAFE? OR STOCK?
Help me decide peep's!

I'd sell it and buy a BSA. Stock Jap bikes look ugly to me, chopped jap bikes look unorthodox, so I would go with a cafe. I've seen late 60's Hondas turned it to some really pretty cafe bikes. Hmmm... we have some sort of theme going. Cafe bikes on a website. Let's call it caferacer.net.

I don't have 2 dimes to loan you. All my money goes to racing, but I'll bet you I'm younger than you, my priorities are just different. 10k for a Brit, do you plan on driving around a restoration? You can get in to a good British bike for about a quarter of that, but you are right my Hondas didn't cost me nearly as much as my European stuff.

I run I brought as well, I just bring British bikes.

27,
Yeah I got brothers that old. Looks like our SuperMotard Night race might be taped and broadcasted on local area cable. I'll have to make sure that I can tape it. Anyone need Honda CB parts? I'm parting out two 750's and if anyone needs anything off of them let me know. I'm hauling them to the scrap yard this weekend.

P.S. Don't worry Corey your cb750 is safe and sound in my garage.
