I've seen lots of bike's with black exhaust. Is it just high temp paint?

usually. I've had good luck with PJ1's Fast Black. it's about $8 a can but it works well.

I use a "duplicolor" high heat "ceramic" paint....no idea what they mean by ceramic but it does work if you cure it. I hang in in my powder coating oven and cook it for 2 hours at 400 degrees...works great after that, very tough. If it's not cooked it doesn't work very well at all.
