coming out of retirement Rob?
Maybe, we'll see. I'm really enjoying rock climbing and the triathlons this year. I went on a weekend trip to the Gunks two weeks ago, cool place. Motorcycles just aren't interesting me that much anymore, especially with all the news of USCRA racers getting hurt on the track.

I don't want to get hurt again. Breaking my arm really sucked. I mean it REALLY sucked. It didn't start to heal for a month, and then took another two months for the bone to heal. Then I had 2 months of physical therapy... Fuck that. I don't want to deal with that again.
For the first three weeks, everytime I moved, I could feel the ends of the broken bone clicking together....

And I hate just circling the track. If I'm there, I want to be competitive. So yeah, I dunno. I'm trying to get rid of some bikes.

Maybe on the Aprillia 50. If Tannermatic makes some bodywork... <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

maybe someday soon. i have been super busy at work. it may be a perfect winter project. no time to do something crazy like that before the end of this season... besides i am having way too much fun surfing and skating these days. the gunks are cool. i went to college in new paltz. met my wife there. the catskills are cool for moto as well. i believe the proper use of them is to climb though.

Unga,
Do what's right for you man. I had HUGE thoughts(abought hanging it up) after my mishap. I like motorcycles and I love to go fast!! I don't care where I finish any more in a race, I just ride my own race these days. Consider just being there and enjoying the sceene.

I won't sell the fast RD, and I do want to race the TZ. I just needs some work before I want to take it on the track. After so much time and $dough spend on these damn bikes, its time for something a little different.

peace man. watch out for surprise poopies on the rocks. the only bummer about the whole thing is all the people going up there doing the same thing... gets really crowde... also hard to park up in those hills.

i will probably build some tooling for the aprilla now that i own one. not till the fall. i still have a motor to build for sept.... almost feel like putting that off untill next season since i am remodeling our bathroom right now. yuck. going surfing is way easier in this warm weather... pair of shorts, bar of wax and a board.... no leather, oil, gas, bullshit.

surfs up
