Be careful with that fitting that you used to hose clamp it to the frame. Mine broke very easily.

I ended up with large hose clamps around the canister to secure it to the frame.

Mine is similar. The in and out are side by side on mine. I run a hose from the "out" port into my belly pan because I am using it for road racing.

Depending on the racing org, some require a second hose from the catch bottle into the belly pan.

The heavy catch bottle here has a one way valve to keep from sucking back into the crank case.

My current race bikes just have a one way valve in the hose between the crank case and the plastic bottle.

I didn't build the two bikes that I'm racing but the guy that did put a ton of time in them to develop them.
They use a Sorenson Air Pump Check Valve part#779-2938. Seem to work fine.
